Ated (ICT Ticino association) founded in Lugano on November 19, 1971, is a non-confessional, apolitical and non-profit association which:
- Promotes and develops the information related to the technology, methodology and ICT-profession
- Promotes and develops all activities related to the permanent and up-to-date education of the Members
- Protects the professional interests of the ICT-category
- Collaborates with the associations having analogous scope and goals
- Represents the Members towards the federal and cantonal authorities
- Favors reaching its objectives via participation to other associations
